Edit scheduled meet data from the meet workspace
Scheduled meets can be corrected before competition; during a live event, pause advancement before changing the active state.
Quick steps
- 1Open the record from Team, Practice, or Meets rather than editing from a summary card.
- 2Use Edit Team Settings for branding and school-level information.
- 3Open a roster row to correct athlete details or current-season membership.
- 4Use the Practice Plans tab to edit, duplicate, reassign, template, or delete a plan.
- 5Open a scheduled meet to edit name, date, time, venue, governing body, events, assignments, dive lists, or timeline.
- 6During a live event, pause advancement before correcting the active diver, dive list, or latest score.
- 7Reopen completed competition data only when the correction is intentional and the result will be republished.
Team and athlete information
Team Settings controls the team identity and branding. Athlete profile controls handle names, graduation year, gender, contact details, and headshots. Removing an athlete from one event is different from removing that athlete from the team.
Scheduled meets
Scheduled meets are the most flexible. You can correct logistics, add or delete events, assign or remove divers, continue incomplete dive sheets, change judging settings, and adjust the session timeline before the meet starts.
Live and completed meets
Live data has stronger safeguards because judges, displays, and spectators consume the same authoritative state. Pause first, make the smallest correction, verify the current diver and totals, then resume. Completed scores are final until the event is explicitly reopened.
Deletion is different from editing
Delete actions can remove events, assignments, plans, or an entire meet. Read the confirmation text carefully and prefer correction over deletion when other people have already received links or submitted data.
