Run the active diver from one authoritative view
The director view keeps the current diver, dive, judge panel, standings, and announcer state synchronized.
Quick steps
- 1Open the director console for the meet.
- 2Confirm the active session and event timeline.
- 3Check judge readiness before the first dive.
- 4Use the current diver card and announcer tools to keep the meet moving.
- 5Wait for all required scores before finalizing each dive.
- 6Advance to the next diver or next round from the controls.
- 7Publish or export results when the event is complete.
The live checklist
Before each dive, the director should know who is up, which event is active, whether judges are connected, and whether the scoreboard/spectator view is in sync.
Timeline visibility
The meet timeline should make it obvious which session is active, how far the meet has progressed, and what is coming next. The same visual can support spectators and parents.
Recovery mindset
If something feels wrong, pause advancement first. It is easier to fix a judging panel, active diver, or event selection before a score is finalized.
Jack summary
The director console is the live command center. Confirm the active session, current diver, judge readiness, score status, and next action before advancing.
